NetPitch ("we," "us," or "our") is a college recruiting tool operated by HourSchool LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website and services at hourschool.io/netpitch (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
Information Provided by Parents/Guardians
When you sign up for or use NetPitch, we collect the following information:
Parent/Guardian Information:
- First and last name
- Email address
Student-Athlete Information (provided by parent/guardian with consent):
- First and last name
- Email address
- Graduation year
- Sport
- Gender (for sport classification)
Waitlist and Interest Data
If you join our sport waitlist, we collect:
- Email address
- Sport interest
- Gender (for sport classification)
This information is used solely to notify you when your desired sport becomes available on NetPitch. Waitlist data is retained for up to 24 months if no notification is sent, or deleted within 90 days after notification. You may request removal from the waitlist at any time by emailing netpitch@hourschool.io.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use our Service, we may automatically collect:
- Device information (browser type, operating system)
- IP address
- Usage data (pages visited, features used)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the Service
- Create and manage your account
- Provide coach contact databases relevant to your sport and division
- Enable email composition and tracking features
- Send service-related communications (welcome emails, updates, support)
- Improve and personalize the Service
- Respond to your requests and inquiries
- Comply with legal obligations
We do NOT:
- Sell your personal information to third parties
- Use student-athlete information for marketing purposes unrelated to the Service
- Contact student-athletes directly for marketing
- Share your information with college coaches (you control all outreach)
Information About Student-Athletes
NetPitch is designed for use by parents and guardians to assist their student-athletes with college recruiting. We collect limited information about student-athletes, including name, email, graduation year, sport, and position. This information is:
- Provided by parents or guardians, not collected directly from minors
- Used solely to facilitate college recruiting outreach
- Under the control of the parent/guardian account holder
- Subject to deletion upon parent/guardian request
Parental Consent: By creating an account and providing student-athlete information, parents/guardians consent to the collection and use of this information for college recruiting purposes as described in this Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
NetPitch is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Our Service is designed for parents and guardians of student-athletes. All information about student-athletes is provided by and controlled by the parent or guardian account holder.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at netpitch@hourschool.io and we will delete such information.
For student-athletes aged 13-17, we collect information only with verifiable parental consent through our account creation process, where the parent/guardian must confirm they are the parent or legal guardian of the athlete.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers: We use third-party services to help operate our Service:
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Amazon Web Services (hosting and data storage)
- Email service providers (transactional emails only)
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Business Transfers: If HourSchool is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With Your Consent: We may share information with your explicit consent.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Active accounts: Information retained while account is active
- Signup/lead information: Retained for up to 24 months if no purchase is made
- Deletion requests: Processed within 30 days
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at netpitch@hourschool.io.
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest
- Access controls limiting who can view personal information
- Regular security assessments
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information

Specific Tracking Technologies
We use the following third-party analytics services:
- Google Tag Manager (GTM): Manages tracking scripts on our pages. GTM may set cookies to manage tag loading.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, session duration, device type, and general geographic region. GA4 may share data with Google for analytics purposes. We do not send personally identifiable information to GA4.
These services may set their own cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings or by using the cookie preferences option on our site. Disabling non-essential cookies will disable analytics tracking but will not affect core Service functionality.
Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. HourSchool LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state privacy laws, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. While we do not engage in such practices, you may submit a request at any time by emailing netpitch@hourschool.io with the subject line "Do Not Sell Request" and we will confirm our practices in writing.
We may share limited data with service providers (Stripe, AWS, Google Analytics) solely to operate the Service, as described in the "Data Sharing and Disclosure" section above. These are not considered "sales" under applicable privacy laws.
Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites (such as college athletic department pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated policy on our website
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending an email notification for significant changes
Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
